Ps 116 : 8 - 9 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]For He delivered my soul from death, My eyes from tears, And my feet from slipping.
ወንጌል Gospel
Mt 24 : 15 - 25 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]15. “Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation, ’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), 16. “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17. Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house. 18. And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. 19. But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! 20. And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. 21. For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect's sake those days will be shortened. 23. “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ! ’ or ‘There! ’ do not believe it. 24. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25. See, I have told you beforehand. The Lord told his desciples, ‘Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.’

1Cor 15 : 51 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]51. Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— 52. in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” 55. “O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?” 56. The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. 57. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

Js 4 : 10 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]10. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up. 11. Do not speak evil of one another, brethren. He who speaks evil of a brother and judges his brother, speaks evil of the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. 12. There is one Lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. Who are you to judge another? 13. Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit”; 14. whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. 15. Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that.” 16. But now you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil. 17. Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.

Acts 24 : 22 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]22. But when Felix heard these things, having more accurate knowledge of the Way, he adjourned the proceedings and said, “When Lysias the commander comes down, I will make a decision on your case.” 23. So he commanded the centurion to keep Paul and to let him have liberty, and told him not to forbid any of his friends to provide for or visit him. 24. And after some days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, who was Jewish, he sent for Paul and heard him concerning the faith in Christ. 25. Now as he reasoned about righteousness, self - control, and the judgment to come, Felix was afraid and answered, “Go away for now; when I have a convenient time I will call for you.” 26. Meanwhile he also hoped that money would be given him by Paul, that he might release him. Therefore he sent for him more often and conversed with him. 27. But after two years Porcius Festus succeeded Felix; and Felix, wanting to do the Jews a favor, left Paul bound.

Mt 5 : 43 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]43. “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy. ’ 44. But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, 45. that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. 46. For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? 47. And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so? 48. Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect. Mt 22 : 5 - 10 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]5. But they made light of it and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his business. 6. And the rest seized his servants, treated them spitefully, and killed them. 7. But when the king heard about it, he was furious. And he sent out his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. 8. Then he said to his servants, ‘ The wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy. 9. Therefore go into the highways, and as many as you find, invite to the wedding. ’ 10. So those servants went out into the highways and gathered together all whom they found, both bad and good. መልእክተ ጳውሎስ Pauline Epistle
Rom 9 : 1 - 16 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. I tell the truth in Christ, I am not lying, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Spirit, 2. that I have great sorrow and continual grief in my heart. 3. For I could wish that I myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my countrymen according to the flesh, 4. who are Israelites, to whom pertain the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the service of God, and the promises; 5. of whom are the fathers and from whom, according to the flesh, Christ came, who is over all, the eternally blessed God. Amen. 6. But it is not that the word of God has taken no effect. For they are not all Israel who are of Israel, 7. nor are they all children because they are the seed of Abraham; but, “In Isaac your seed shall be called.” 8. That is, those who are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted as the seed. 9. For this is the word of promise: “At this time I will come and Sarah shall have a son.” 10. And not only this, but when Rebecca also had conceived by one man, even by our father Isaac 11. (for the children not yet being born, nor having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works but of Him who calls), 12. it was said to her, “The older shall serve the younger.” 13. As it is written, “Jacob I have loved, but Esau I have hated.” 14. What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? Certainly not! 15. For He says to Moses, “ I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion.” 16. So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy.
ዘካልእ መልእክት Universal Epistle
1Jn 4 : 11 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]11. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12. No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us. 13. By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. 14. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world. 15. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. 16. And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. 17. Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. 18. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. 19. We love Him because He first loved us. 20. If someone says, “ I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? 21. And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.

Acts 11 : 11 - 18 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]11. At that very moment, three men stood before the house where I was, having been sent to me from Caesarea. 12. Then the Spirit told me to go with them, doubting nothing. More over these six brethren accompanied me, and we entered the man's house. 13. And he told us how he had seen an angel standing in his house, who said to him, ‘Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon whose surname is Peter, 14. who will tell you words by which you and all your household will be saved. ’ 15. And as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon them, as upon us at the beginning. 16. Then I remembered the word of the Lord, how He said, ‘John indeed baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit. ’ 17. If therefore God gave them the same gift as He gave us when we believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I that I could withstand God?” 18. When they heard these things they became silent; and they glorified God, saying, “Then God has also granted to the Gentiles repentance to life.”

Jn 8 : 51 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]51. Most assuredly, I say to you, if anyone keeps My word he shall never see death.” 52. Then the Jews said to Him, “Now we know that You have a demon! Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and You say, ‘If anyone keeps My word he shall never taste death. ’ 53. Are You greater than our father Abraham, who is dead? And the prophets are dead. Who do You make Yourself out to be?” 54. Jesus answered, “If I honor Myself, My honor is nothing. It is My Father who honors Me, of whom you say that He is your God. 55. Yet you have not known Him, but I know Him. And if I say, ‘ I do not know Him, ’ I shall be a liar like you; but I do know Him and keep His word. 56. Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.” 57. Then the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?” 58. Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” 59. Then they took up stones to throw at Him; but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by. Whoever believes in the SON, have eternal life.

Lk 12 : 41 - 48 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]41. Then Peter said to Him, “Lord, do You speak this parable only to us, or to all people?” 42. And the Lord said, “Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his master will make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of food in due season? 43. Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes. 44. Truly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all that he has. 45. But if that servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming, ’ and begins to beat the male and female servants, and to eat and drink and be drunk, 46. the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. 47. And that servant who knew his master's will, and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. 48. But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more. ‘It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail,’ says the Lord to his desciples.

Mt 15 : 32 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]32. Now Jesus called His disciples to Himself and said, “ I have compassion on the multitude, because they have now continued with Me three days and have nothing to eat. And I do not want to send them away hungry, lest they faint on the way.” 33. Then His disciples said to Him, “Where could we get enough bread in the wilderness to fill such a great multitude?” 34. Jesus said to them, “How many loaves do you have?” And they said, “Seven, and a few little fish.” 35. So He commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground. 36. And He took the seven loaves and the fish and gave thanks, broke them and gave them to His disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitude. 37. So they all ate and were filled, and they took up seven large baskets full of the fragments that were left. 38. Now those who ate were four thousand men, besides women and children. 39. And He sent away the multitude, got into the boat, and came to the region of Magdala. The Lord told his desciples, ‘Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.’

Heb 3 : 6 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]6. but Christ as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end. 7. Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: “Today, if you will hear His voice, 8. Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, In the day of trial in the wilderness, 9. Where your fathers tested Me, tried Me, And saw My works forty years. 10. Therefore I was angry with that generation, And said, ‘They always go astray in their heart, And they have not known My ways. ’ 11. So I swore in My wrath, ‘They shall not enter My rest.’” 12. Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God; 13. but exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. 14. For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end, 15. while it is said: “Today, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.” 16. For who, having heard, rebelled? Indeed, was it not all who came out of Egypt, led by Moses? 17. Now with whom was He angry forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose corpses fell in the wilderness? 18. And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who did not obey? 19. So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

Let him turn away from evil and do good; Let him seek peace and pursue it. 12. For the eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the LORD is against those who do evil.” 13. And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good? 14. But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. “And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.” 15. But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;

Mk 4 : 10 - 25 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]10. But when He was alone, those around Him with the twelve asked Him about the parable. 11. And He said to them, “To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables, 12. so that ‘Seeing they may see and not perceive, And hearing they may hear and not understand; Lest they should turn, And their sins be forgiven them.’” 13. And He said to them, “Do you not understand this parable? How then will you understand all the parables? 14. The sower sows the word. 15. And these are the ones by the wayside where the word is sown. When they hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts. 16. These likewise are the ones sown on stony ground who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with gladness; 17. and they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the word's sake, immediately they stumble. 18. Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the word, 19. and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. 20. But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.” 21. Also He said to them, “Is a lamp brought to be put under a basket or under a bed? Is it not to be set on a lampstand? 22. For there is nothing hidden which will not be revealed, nor has anything been kept secret but that it should come to light. 23. If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear.” 24. Then He said to them, “Take heed what you hear. With the same measure you use, it will be measured to you; and to you who hear, more will be given. 25. For whoever has, to him more will be given; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.” He who has ears to hear, let him hear!

Lk 20 : 1 - 8 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. Now it happened on one of those days, as He taught the people in the temple and preached the gospel, that the chief priests and the scribes, together with the elders, confronted Him 2. and spoke to Him, saying, “Tell us, by what authority are You doing these things? Or who is he who gave You this authority?” 3. But He answered and said to them, “ I also will ask you one thing, and answer Me: 4. The baptism of John—was it from heaven or from men?” 5. And they reasoned among themselves, saying, “If we say, ‘ From heaven, ’ He will say, ‘Why then did you not believe him? ’ 6. But if we say, ‘ From men, ’ all the people will stone us, for they are persuaded that John was a prophet.” 7. So they answered that they did not know where it was from. 8. Rom 14 : 1 - 8 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. Receive one who is weak in the faith, but not to disputes over doubtful things. 2. For one believes he may eat all things, but he who is weak eats only vegetables. 3. Let not him who eats despise him who does not eat, and let not him who does not eat judge him who eats; for God has received him. 4. Who are you to judge another's servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand. 5. One person esteems one day above another; another esteems every day alike. Let each be fully convinced in his own mind. 6. He who observes the day, observes it to the Lord; and he who does not observe the day, to the Lord he does not observe it. He who eats, eats to the Lord, for he gives God thanks; and he who does not eat, to the Lord he does not eat, and gives God thanks. 7. For none of us lives to himself, and no one dies to himself. 8. For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord's.

Js 1 : 19 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]19. So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; 20. for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God. 21. Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. 22. But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; 24. for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 25. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does. 26. If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one's religion is useless. 27. Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.

Then he became very hungry and wanted to eat; but while they made ready, he fell into a trance 11. and saw heaven opened and an object like a great sheet bound at the four corners, descending to him and let down to the earth. 12. In it were all kinds of four - footed animals of the earth, wild beasts, creeping things, and birds of the air. 13. And a voice came to him, “Rise, Peter; kill and eat.” 14. But Peter said, “Not so, Lord! For I have never eaten anything common or unclean.” 15. And a voice spoke to him again the second time, “What God has cleansed you must not call common.” 16. This was done three times. And the object was taken up into heaven again.

Jn 9 : 12 - 17 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]12. Then they said to him, “Where is He?” He said, “ I do not know.” 13. They brought him who formerly was blind to the Pharisees. 14. Now it was a Sabbath when Jesus made the clay and opened his eyes. 15. Then the Pharisees also asked him again how he had received his sight. He said to them, “He put clay on my eyes, and I washed, and I see.” 16. Therefore some of the Pharisees said, “This Man is not from God, because He does not keep the Sabbath.” Others said, “How can a man who is a sinner do such signs?” And there was a division among them. 17. They said to the blind man again, “What do you say about Him because He opened your eyes?” He said, “He is a prophet.” Whoever believes in the SON, have eternal life.

Lk 8 : 26 - 30 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]26. Then they sailed to the country of the Gadarenes, which is opposite Galilee. 27. And when He stepped out on the land, there met Him a certain man from the city who had demons for a long time. And he wore no clothes, nor did he live in a house but in the tombs. 28. When he saw Jesus, he cried out, fell down before Him, and with a loud voice said, “What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg You, do not torment me!” 29. For He had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For it had often seized him, and he was kept under guard, bound with chains and shackles; and he broke the bonds and was driven by the demon into the wilderness. 30. Jesus asked him, saying, “What is your name?” And he said, “Legion,” because many demons had entered him. ‘It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail,’ says the Lord to his desciples.

Lk 24 : 13 - 26 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]13. Now behold, two of them were traveling that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was seven miles from Jerusalem. 14. And they talked together of all these things which had happened. 15. So it was, while they conversed and reasoned, that Jesus Himself drew near and went with them. 16. But their eyes were restrained, so that they did not know Him. 17. And He said to them, “What kind of conversation is this that you have with one another as you walk and are sad?” 18. Then the one whose name was Cleopas answered and said to Him, “Are You the only stranger in Jerusalem, and have You not known the things which happened there in these days?” 19. And He said to them, “What things?” So they said to Him, “The things concerning Jesus of Nazareth, who was a Prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people, 20. and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered Him to be condemned to death, and crucified Him. 21. But we were hoping that it was He who was going to redeem Israel. Indeed, besides all this, today is the third day since these things happened. 22. Yes, and certain women of our company, who arrived at the tomb early, astonished us. 23. When they did not find His body, they came saying that they had also seen a vision of angels who said He was alive. 24. And certain of those who were with us went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said; but Him they did not see.” 25. Then He said to them, “O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken! 26. Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory?” ‘It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail,’ says the Lord to his desciples.

1Cor 1 : 9 - 16 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]9. God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. 10. Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. 11. For it has been declared to me concerning you, my brethren, by those of Chloe's household, that there are contentions among you. 12. Now I say this, that each of you says, “ I am of Paul,” or “ I am of Apollos,” or “ I am of Cephas,” or “ I am of Christ.” 13. Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul? 14. I thank God that I baptized none of you except Crispus and Gaius, 15. lest anyone should say that I had baptized in my own name. 16. Yes, I also baptized the household of Stephanas. Besides, I do not know whether I baptized any other.

Jude 1 : 17 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]17. But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: 18. how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. 19. These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit. 20. But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, 21. keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. 22. And on some have compassion, making a distinction; 23. but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh. 24. Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, 25. To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.

Jn 1 : 44 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]44. Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter. 45. Philip found Nathanael and said to him, “We have found Him of whom Moses in the law, and also the prophets, wrote—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.” 46. And Nathanael said to him, “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” Philip said to him, “Come and see.” 47. Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him, and said of him, “Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom is no deceit!” 48. Nathanael said to Him, “How do You know me?” Jesus answered and said to him, “Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.” 49. Nathanael answered and said to Him, “Rabbi, You are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!” 50. Jesus answered and said to him, “ Because I said to you, ‘ I saw you under the fig tree, ’ do you believe? You will see greater things than these.” 51. When those who fed them saw what had happened, they fled and told it in the city and in the country. 35. Then they went out to see what had happened, and came to Jesus, and found the man from whom the demons had departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed and in his right mind. And they were afraid. 36. They also who had seen it told them by what means he who had been demon - possessed was healed. 37. Then the whole multitude of the surrounding region of the Gadarenes asked Him to depart from them, for they were seized with great fear. Lk 8 : 9 - 18 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]9. Then His disciples asked Him, saying, “What does this parable mean?” 10. And He said, “To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but to the rest it is given in parables, that ‘Seeing they may not see, And hearing they may not understand. ’ 11. “Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. 12. Those by the wayside are the ones who hear; then the devil comes and takes away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. 13. But the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, who believe for a while and in time of temptation fall away. 14. Now the ones that fell among thorns are those who, when they have heard, go out and are choked with cares, riches, and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to maturity. 15. But the ones that fell on the good ground are those who, having heard the word with a noble and good heart, keep it and bear fruit with patience. 16. “No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a vessel or puts it under a bed, but sets it on a lampstand, that those who enter may see the light. 17. For nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light. 18. Therefore take heed how you hear. For whoever has, to him more will be given; and whoever does not have, even what he seems to have will be taken from him.” ‘It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail,’ says the Lord to his desciples.

1Cor 2 : 1 - 8 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God. 2. For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. 3. I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. 4. And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, 5. that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. 6. However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. 7. But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, 8. which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

Js 4 : 5 - 12 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]5. Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, “The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously” ? 6. But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.” 7. Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double - minded. 9. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. 10.

Acts 14 : 20 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]20. However, when the disciples gathered around him, he rose up and went into the city. And the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe. 21. And when they had preached the gospel to that city and made many disciples, they returned to Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch, 22. strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and saying, “We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God.” 23. So when they had appointed elders in every church, and prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord in whom they had believed. 24. And after they had passed through Pisidia, they came to Pamphylia. 25. Now when they had preached the word in Perga, they went down to Attalia. 26. From there they sailed to Antioch, where they had been commended to the grace of God for the work which they had completed. 27. Now when they had come and gathered the church together, they reported all that God had done with them, and that He had opened the door of faith to the Gentiles. 28. So they stayed there a long time with the disciples.

Mt 13 : 31 - 39 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]31. Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field, 32. which indeed is the least of all the seeds; but when it is grown it is greater than the herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches.” 33. Another parable He spoke to them: “The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal till it was all leavened.” 34. All these things Jesus spoke to the multitude in parables; and without a parable He did not speak to them, 35. that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying: “ I will open My mouth in parables; I will utter things kept secret from the foundation of the world.” 36. Then Jesus sent the multitude away and went into the house. And His disciples came to Him, saying, “Explain to us the parable of the tares of the field.” 37. He answered and said to them: “He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. 38. The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one. 39. The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels. Rom 9 : 14 - 23 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]14. 17. For the Scripture says to the Pharaoh, “For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be declared in all the earth.” 18. Therefore He has mercy on whom He wills, and whom He wills He hardens. 19. You will say to me then, “Why does He still find fault? For who has resisted His will?” 20. But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed say to him who formed it, “Why have you made me like this?” 21. Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor? 22. What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, 23. and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory,

Jude 1 : 5 - 13 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]5. But I want to remind you, though you once knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe. 6. And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day; 7. as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. 8. Likewise also these dreamers defile the flesh, reject authority, and speak evil of dignitaries. 9. Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said, “The Lord rebuke you!” 10. But these speak evil of whatever they do not know; and whatever they know naturally, like brute beasts, in these things they corrupt themselves. 11. Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, have run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit, and perished in the rebellion of Korah. 12. These are spots in your love feasts, while they feast with you without fear, serving only themselves. They are clouds without water, carried about by the winds; late autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots; 13. raging waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame; wandering stars for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.

2Cor 9 : 5 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]5. Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren to go to you ahead of time, and prepare your generous gift beforehand, which you had previously promised, that it may be ready as a matter of generosity and not as a grudging obligation. 6. But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 8. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. 9. As it is written: “He has dispersed abroad, He has given to the poor; His righteousness endures forever.” 10. Now maya He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness, 11. while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God. 12. For the administration of this service not only supplies the needs of the saints, but also is abounding through many thanksgivings to God, 13. while, through the proof of this ministry, they glorify God for the obedience of your confession to the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal sharing with them and all men, 14. and by their prayer for you, who long for you because of the exceeding grace of God in you. 15. Js 3 : 13 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]13. Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. 14. But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. 15. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. 16. For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. 17. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. 18. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
ግብረ ሃዋርያት Acts
Acts 27 : 18 - 26 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]18. And because we were exceedingly tempest-tossed, the next day they lightened the ship. 19. On the third day we threw the ship's tackle overboard with our own hands. 20. Now when neither sun nor stars appeared for many days, and no small tempest beat on us, all hope that we would be saved was finally given up. 21. But after long abstinence from food, then Paul stood in the midst of them and said, “Men, you should have listened to me, and not have sailed from Crete and incurred this disaster and loss. 22. And now I urge you to take heart, for there will be no loss of life among you, but only of the ship. 23. For there stood by me this night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve, 24. saying, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul; you must be brought before Caesar; and indeed God has granted you all those who sail with you. ’ 25. Therefore take heart, men, for I believe God that it will be just as it was told me. 26. However, we must run aground on a certain island.”

ወንጌል Gospel
Mt 7 : 21 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]21. “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord, ’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name? ’ 23. And then I will declare to them, ‘ I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness! ’ 24. “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: 25. and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. 26. “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: 27. and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.” 28. And so it was, when Jesus had ended these sayings, that the people were astonished at His teaching, 29. for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes. The Lord told his desciples, ‘Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.’
