Ps 51 : 10 - 11 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]Turn Your face from my sins, And blot out all my transgressions. Create in me a clean heart, O God.
ወንጌል Gospel
Jn 12 : 1 - 11 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. Then, six days before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany, where Lazarus was who had been dead, whom He had raised from the dead. 2. There they made Him a supper; and Martha served, but Lazarus was one of those who sat at the table with Him. 3. Then Mary took a pound of very costly oil of spikenard, anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped His feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil. 4. But one of His disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, who would betray Him, said, 5. “Why was this fragrant oil not sold for three hundred denarii and given to the poor?” 6. This he said, not that he cared for the poor, but because he was a thief, and had the money box; and he used to take what was put in it. 7. But Jesus said, “Let her alone; she has kept this for the day of My burial. 8. For the poor you have with you always, but Me you do not have always.” 9. Now a great many of the Jews knew that He was there; and they came, not for Jesus’ sake only, but that they might also see Lazarus, whom He had raised from the dead. 10. But the chief priests plotted to put Lazarus to death also, 11. because on account of him many of the Jews went away and believed in Jesus. Whoever believes in the SON, have eternal life.

Eph 2 : 13 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]13. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. 14. For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, 15. having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, 16. and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. 17. And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near. 18. For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father. 19. Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, 20. having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, 21. in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, 22. in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

1Jn 3 : 17 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]17. But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? 18. My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. 19. And by this we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him. 20. For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things. 21. Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. 22. And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. 23. And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment. 24. Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.

Acts 25 : 1 - 8 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. Now when Festus had come to the province, after three days he went up from Caesarea to Jerusalem. 2. Then the high priest and the chief men of the Jews informed him against Paul; and they petitioned him, 3. asking a favor against him, that he would summon him to Jerusalem—while they lay in ambush along the road to kill him. 4. But Festus answered that Paul should be kept at Caesarea, and that he himself was going there shortly. 5. “Therefore,” he said, “let those who have authority among you go down with me and accuse this man, to see if there is any fault in him.” 6. And when he had remained among them more than ten days, he went down to Caesarea. And the next day, sitting on the judgment seat, he commanded Paul to be brought. 7. When he had come, the Jews who had come down from Jerusalem stood about and laid many serious complaints against Paul, which they could not prove, 8. while he answered for himself, “Neither against the law of the Jews, nor against the temple, nor against Caesar have I offended in anything at all.”

ወንጌል Gospel
Jn 11 : 46 - 53 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]46. But some of them went away to the Pharisees and told them the things Jesus did. 47. Then the chief priests and the Pharisees gathered a council and said, “What shall we do? For this Man works many signs. 48. If we let Him alone like this, everyone will believe in Him, and the Romans will come and take away both our place and nation.” 49. And one of them, Caiaphas, being high priest that year, said to them, “You know nothing at all, 50. nor do you consider that it is expedient for us that one man should die for the people, and not that the whole nation should perish.” 51. Now this he did not say on his own authority; but being high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus would die for the nation, 52. and not for that nation only, but also that He would gather together in one the children of God who were scattered abroad. 53. Then, from that day on, they plotted to put Him to death. Whoever believes in the SON, have eternal life.

Ps 75 : 4 - 5 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]I said to those who transgress the law, “Do not transgress the law,” And to those who sin I said, “Do not exalt yourselves; Do not boast in yourselves; Do not accuse God of wrongdoing.”
ወንጌል Gospel
Lk 19 : 28 - 40 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]28. When He had said this, He went on ahead, going up to Jerusalem. 29. And it came to pass, when He drew near to Bethphagea and Bethany, at the mountain called Olivet, that He sent two of His disciples, 30. saying, “Go into the village opposite you, where as you enter you will find a colt tied, on which no one has ever sat. Loose it and bring it here. 31. And if anyone asks you, ‘Why are you loosing it? ’ thus you shall say to him, ‘ Because the Lord has need of it.’” 32. So those who were sent went their way and found it just as He had said to them. 33. But as they were loosing the colt, the owners of it said to them, “Why are you loosing the colt?” 34. And they said, “The Lord has need of him.” 35. Then they brought him to Jesus. And they threw their own clothes on the colt, and they set Jesus on him. 36. And as He went, many spread their clothes on the road. 37. Then, as He was now drawing near the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works they had seen, 38. saying: “‘Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the LORD! ’ Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!” 39. And some of the Pharisees called to Him from the crowd, “Teacher, rebuke Your disciples.” 40. But He answered and said to them, “ I tell you that if these should keep silent, the stones would immediately cry out.” ‘It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail,’ says the Lord to his desciples.

Mt 21 : 6 - 11 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]6. So the disciples went and did as Jesus commanded them. 7. They brought the donkey and the colt, laid their clothes on them, and set Him on them. 8. And a very great multitude spread their clothes on the road; others cut down branches from the trees and spread them on the road. 9. Then the multitudes who went before and those who followed cried out, saying: “Hosanna to the Son of David! ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD! ’ Hosanna in the highest!” 10. And when He had come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, “Who is this?” 11. So the multitudes said, “This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth of Galilee.” The Lord told his desciples, ‘Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.’

መልእክተ ጳውሎስ Pauline Epistle
1Cor 4 : 1 - 9 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. Let a man so consider us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. 2. More over it is required in stewards that one be found faithful. 3. But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you or by a human court. In fact, I do not even judge myself. 4. For I know of nothing against myself, yet I am not justified by this; but He who judges me is the Lord. 5. Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each one's praise will come from God. 6. Now these things, brethren, I have figuratively transferred to myself and Apollos for your sakes, that you may learn in us not to think beyond what is written, that none of you may be puffed up on behalf of one against the other. 7. For who makes you differ from another? And what do you have that you did not receive? Now if you did indeed receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it? 8. You are already full! You are already rich! You have reigned as kings without us—and indeed I could wish you did reign, that we also might reign with you! 9. For I think that God has displayed us, the apostles, last, as men condemned to death; for we have been made a spectacle to the world, both to angels and to men.

2Jn 1 : 8 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]8. Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we worked for, but that we may receive a full reward. 9. Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. 10. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him; 11. for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds. 12. Having many things to write to you, I did not wish to do so with paper and ink; but I hope to come to you and speak face to face, that our joy may be full. 13. The children of your elect sister greet you. Amen.

Acts 28 : 24 - 29 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]24. And some were persuaded by the things which were spoken, and some disbelieved. 25. So when they did not agree among themselves, they departed after Paul had said one word: “The Holy Spirit spoke rightly through Isaiah the prophet to our fathers, 26. saying, ‘Go to this people and say: “Hearing you will hear, and shall not understand; And seeing you will see, and not perceive; 27. For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.” ’ 28. “Therefore let it be known to you that the salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles, and they will hear it!” 29. And when he had said these words, the Jews departed and had a great dispute among themselves.

Ps 132 : 17 - 18 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]There I shall cause to spring up a horn for David; There I prepared a lamp for my anointed; His enemies I shall clothe with shame; Upon him shall My sanctification flourish.”
ወንጌል Gospel
Mk 11 : 1 - 11 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. Now when they drew near Jerusalem, to Bethphage and Bethany, at the Mount of Olives, He sent two of His disciples; 2. and He said to them, “Go into the village opposite you; and as soon as you have entered it you will find a colt tied, on which no one has sat. So they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door outside on the street, and they loosed it. 5. But some of those who stood there said to them, “What are you doing, loosing the colt?” 6. And they spoke to them just as Jesus had commanded. So they let them go. 7. Then they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their clothes on it, and He sat on it. 8. And many spread their clothes on the road, and others cut down leafy branches from the trees and spread them on the road. 9. Then those who went before and those who followed cried out, saying: “Hosanna! ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD! ’ 10. Blessed is the kingdom of our father David That comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!” 11. And Jesus went into Jerusalem and into the temple. So when He had looked around at all things, as the hour was already late, He went out to Bethany with the twelve. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!

ወንጌል Gospel
Jn 12 : 12 - 19 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]12. The next day a great multitude that had come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, 13. took branches of palm trees and went out to meet Him, and cried out: “Hosanna! ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD! ’ The King of Israel!” 14. Then Jesus, when He had found a young donkey, sat on it; as it is written: 15. “Fear not, daughter of Zion; Behold, your King is coming, Sitting on a donkey's colt.” 16. His disciples did not understand these things at first; but when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things were written about Him and that they had done these things to Him. 17. Therefore the people, who were with Him when He called Lazarus out of his tomb and raised him from the dead, bore witness. 18. For this reason the people also met Him, because they heard that He had done this sign. 19. The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, “You see that you are accomplishing nothing. Look, the world has gone after Him!” Whoever believes in the SON, have eternal life.

Heb 11 : 32 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]32. And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah, also of David and Samuel and the prophets: 33. who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, 34. quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. 35. Women received their dead raised to life again. Others were tortured, not accepting deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection. 36. Still others had trial of mockings and scourgings, yes, and of chains and imprisonment. 37. They were stoned, they were sawn in two, were tempted, were slain with the sword. They wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins, being destitute, afflicted, tormented— 38. of whom the world was not worthy. They wandered in deserts and mountains, in dens and caves of the earth. 39. And all these, having obtained a good testimony through faith, did not receive the promise, 40. God having provided something better for us, that they should not be made perfect apart from us.

You always resist the Holy Spirit; as your fathers did, so do you. 52. Which of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? And they killed those who foretold the coming of the Just One, of whom you now have become the betrayers and murderers, 53. who have received the law by the direction of angels and have not kept it.” 54. Gal 4 : 12 - 20 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]12. Brethren, I urge you to become like me, for I became like you. You have not injured me at all. 13. You know that because of physical infirmity I preached the gospel to you at the first. 14. And my trial which was in my flesh you did not despise or reject, but you received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus. 15. What then was the blessing you enjoyed? For I bear you witness that, if possible, you would have plucked out your own eyes and given them to me. 16. Have I therefore become your enemy because I tell you the truth? 17. They zealously court you, but for no good; yes, they want to exclude you, that you may be zealous for them. 18. But it is good to be zealous in a good thing always, and not only when I am present with you. 19. My little children, for whom I labor in birth again until Christ is formed in you, 20. Ps 50 : 22 - 23 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]Understand these things, you who forget God, Lest He snatch you away, and there be none to deliver; A sacrifice of praise shall glorify Me, And there is the way whereby I will show him the salvation of God.”

Mk 13 : 9 - 16 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]9. “But watch out for yourselves, for they will deliver you up to councils, and you will be beaten in the synagogues. You will be brought before rulers and kings for My sake, for a testimony to them. 10. And the gospel must first be preached to all the nations. 11. But when they arrest you and deliver you up, do not worry beforehand, or premeditate what you will speak. But whatever is given you in that hour, speak that; for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit. 12. Now brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death. 13. And you will be hated by all for My name's sake. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14. “So when you see the ‘abomination of desolation, ’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not” (let the reader understand), “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 15. Let him who is on the housetop not go down into the house, nor enter to take anything out of his house. 16. And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!

2Tim 1 : 10 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]10. but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel, 11. to which I was appointed a preacher, an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles. 12. For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day. 13. Hold fast the pattern of sound words which you have heard from me, in faith and love which are in Christ Jesus. 14. That good thing which was committed to you, keep by the Holy Spirit who dwells in us. 15. This you know, that all those in Asia have turned away from me, among whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes. 16. The Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, for he often refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain; 17. but when he arrived in Rome, he sought me out very zealously and found me. 18. The Lord grant to him that he may find mercy from the Lord in that Day—and you know very well how many ways he ministered to me at Ephesus.

1Jn 3 : 6 - 11 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]6. Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. 7. Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. 8. He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. 9. Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. 10. In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother. 11. For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another,

Jn 13 : 1 - 11 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. Now before the Feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that His hour had come that He should depart from this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end. 2. And supper being ended, the devil having already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray Him, 3. Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come from God and was going to God, 4. rose from supper and laid aside His garments, took a towel and girded Himself. 5. After that, He poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples’ feet, and to wipe them with the towel with which He was girded. 6. Then He came to Simon Peter. And Peter said to Him, “Lord, are You washing my feet?” 7. Jesus answered and said to him, “What I am doing you do not understand now, but you will know after this.” 8. Peter said to Him, “You shall never wash my feet!” Jesus answered him, “If I do not wash you, you have no part with Me.” 9. Simon Peter said to Him, “Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head!” 10. Jesus said to him, “He who is bathed needs only to wash his feet, but is completely clean; and you are clean, but not all of you.” 11. For He knew who would betray Him; therefore He said, “You are not all clean.” Whoever believes in the SON, have eternal life.

1Cor 11 : 20 - 29 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]20. Therefore when you come together in one place, it is not to eat the Lord's Supper. 21. For in eating, each one takes his own supper ahead of others; and one is hungry and another is drunk. 22. What! Do you not have houses to eat and drink in? Or do you despise the church of God and shame those who have nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you in this? I do not praise you. 23. For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; 24. and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” 25. In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” 26. For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death till He comes. 27. Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. 28. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup. 29. For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.

Lk 23 : 1 - 25 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. Then the whole multitude of them arose and led Him to Pilate. 2. And they began to accuse Him, saying, “We found this fellow perverting the nation, and forbidding to pay taxes to Caesar, saying that He Himself is Christ, a King.” 3. Then Pilate asked Him, saying, “Are You the King of the Jews?” He answered him and said, “It is as you say.” 4. So Pilate said to the chief priests and the crowd, “ I find no fault in this Man.” 5. But they were the more fierce, saying, “He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee to this place.” 6. When Pilate heard of Galilee, he asked if the Man were a Galilean. 7. And as soon as he knew that He belonged to Herod's jurisdiction, he sent Him to Herod, who was also in Jerusalem at that time. 8. Now when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceedingly glad; for he had desired for a long time to see Him, because he had heard many things about Him, and he hoped to see some miracle done by Him. 9. Then he questioned Him with many words, but He answered him nothing. 10. And the chief priests and scribes stood and vehemently accused Him. 11. Then Herod, with his men of war, treated Him with contempt and mocked Him, arrayed Him in a gorgeous robe, and sent Him back to Pilate. 12. That very day Pilate and Herod became friends with each other, for previously they had been at enmity with each other. 13. Then Pilate, when he had called together the chief priests, the rulers, and the people, 14. said to them, “You have brought this Man to me, as one who misleads the people. And indeed, having examined Him in your presence, I have found no fault in this Man concerning those things of which you accuse Him; 15. no, neither did Herod, for I sent you back to him; and indeed nothing deserving of death has been done by Him. 16. I will therefore chastise Him and release Him” 17. (for it was necessary for him to release one to them at the feast). 18. And they all cried out at once, saying, “Away with this Man, and release to us Barabbas” — 19. who had been thrown into prison for a certain rebellion made in the city, and for murder. 20. Pilate, therefore, wishing to release Jesus, again called out to them. 21. But they shouted, saying, “Crucify Him, crucify Him!” 22. Then he said to them the third time, “Why, what evil has He done? I have found no reason for death in Him. I will therefore chastise Him and let Him go.” 23. But they were insistent, demanding with loud voices that He be crucified. And the voices of these men and of the chief priests prevailed. 24. So Pilate gave sentence that it should be as they requested. 25. And he released to them the one they requested, who for rebellion and murder had been thrown into prison; but he delivered Jesus to their will. ‘It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail,’ says the Lord to his desciples.

Heb 12 : 2 - 17 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]2. looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3. For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls. 4. You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin. 5. And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons: “My son, do not despise the chastening of the LORD, Nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him; 6. For whom the LORD loves He chastens, And scourges every son whom He receives.” 7. If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? 8. But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons. 9. Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live? 10. For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness. 11. Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. 12. Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees, 13. and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed. 14. Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: 15. looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled; 16. lest there be any fornicator or profane person like Esau, who for one morsel of food sold his birthright. 17. For you know that afterward, when he wanted to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for repentance, though he sought it diligently with tears.

1Pet 3 : 15 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]15. But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear; 16. having a good conscience, that when they defame you as evildoers, those who revile your good conduct in Christ may be ashamed. 17. For it is better, if it is the will of God, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil. 18. For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit, 19. by whom also He went and preached to the spirits in prison, 20. who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water. 21. There is also an antitype which now saves us—baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, 22. who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, angels and authorities and powers having been made subject to Him.

While he was sitting on the judgment seat, his wife sent to him, saying, “Have nothing to do with that just Man, for I have suffered many things today in a dream because of Him.” 20. Joseph of Arimathea, a prominent council member, who was himself waiting for the kingdom of God, coming and taking courage, went in to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. 44. Pilate marveled that He was already dead; and summoning the centurion, he asked him if He had been dead for some time. 45. So when he found out from the centurion, he granted the body to Joseph. 46. Then he bought fine linen, took Him down, and wrapped Him in the linen. And he laid Him in a tomb which had been hewn out of the rock, and rolled a stone against the door of the tomb. 47. And Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses observed where He was laid. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!
