Ps 102 : 3 - 4 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]For my days vanished like smoke, And my bones burned up like firewood. I was cut down like grass, and my heart became withered.
ወንጌል Gospel
Lk 10 : 38 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]38. Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. 39. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word. 40. But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.” 41. And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. 42. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.” ‘It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail,’ says the Lord to his desciples.

መልእክተ ጳውሎስ Pauline Epistle
Rom 8 : 28 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]28. And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. 29. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30. More over whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. 31. What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32. He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? 33. Who shall bring a charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. 34. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. 35. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36. As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” 37. Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39. nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
ዘካልእ መልእክት Universal Epistle
1Pet 4 : 12 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]12. Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; 13. but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ's sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. 14. If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified. 15. But let none of you suffer as a murderer, a thief, an evildoer, or as a busybody in other people's matters. 16. Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter. 17. For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? 18. Now “If the righteous one is scarcely saved, Where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?” 19. Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator.

Acts 17 : 30 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]30. Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, 31. because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.” 32. And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked, while others said, “We will hear you again on this matter.” 33. So Paul departed from among them. 34. However, some men joined him and believed, among them Dionysius the Areopagite, a woman named Damaris, and others with them.

ወንጌል Gospel
Jn 4 : 4 - 12 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]4. But He needed to go through Samaria. 5. So He came to a city of Samaria which is called Sychar, near the plot of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. 6. Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied from His journey, sat thus by the well. It was about the sixth hour. 7. A woman of Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, “Give Me a drink.” 8. For His disciples had gone away into the city to buy food. 9. Then the woman of Samaria said to Him, “How is it that You, being a Jew, ask a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?” For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans. 10. Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink, ’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.” 11. The woman said to Him, “Sir, You have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. Where then do You get that living water? 12. Are You greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well, and drank from it himself, as well as his sons and his livestock?” Whoever believes in the SON, have eternal life.

Mk 5 : 35 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]35. While He was still speaking, some came from the ruler of the synagogue's house who said, “Your daughter is dead. Why trouble the Teacher any further?” 36. As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He said to the ruler of the synagogue, “Do not be afraid; only believe.” 37. And He permitted no one to follow Him except Peter, James, and John the brother of James. 38. Then He came to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and saw a tumult and those who wept and wailed loudly. 39. When He came in, He said to them, “Why make this commotion and weep? The child is not dead, but sleeping.” 40. And they ridiculed Him. But when He had put them all outside, He took the father and the mother of the child, and those who were with Him, and entered where the child was lying. 41. Then He took the child by the hand, and said to her, “Talitha, cumi,” which is translated, “Little girl, I say to you, arise.” 42. Immediately the girl arose and walked, for she was twelve years of age. And they were overcome with great amazement. 43. But He commanded them strictly that no one should know it, and said that something should be given her to eat. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!

Mk 7 : 1 - 9 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. Then the Pharisees and some of the scribes came together to Him, having come from Jerusalem. 2. Now when they saw some of His disciples eat bread with defiled, that is, with unwashed hands, they found fault. 3. For the Pharisees and all the Jews do not eat unless they wash their hands in a special way, holding the tradition of the elders. 4. When they come from the marketplace, they do not eat unless they wash. And there are many other things which they have received and hold, like the washing of cups, pitchers, copper vessels, and couches. 5. Then the Pharisees and scribes asked Him, “Why do Your disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashed hands?” 6. He answered and said to them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: ‘This people honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. 7. And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men. ’ 8. For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men —the washing of pitchers and cups, and many other such things you do.” 9. He said to them, “All too well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!

Col 1 : 21 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]21. And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled 22. in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight— 23. if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister. 24. I now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my flesh what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ, for the sake of His body, which is the church, 25. of which I became a minister according to the stewardship from God which was given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God, 26. the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. 27. To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. 28. Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. 29. To this end I also labor, striving according to His working which works in me mightily.

1Jn 5 : 14 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]14. Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. 16. If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin which does not lead to death, he will ask, and He will give him life for those who commit sin not leading to death. There is sin leading to death. I do not say that he should pray about that. 17. All unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin not leading to death. 18. We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him. 19. We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one. 20. And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life. 21. Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

Acts 17 : 5 - 12 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]5. But the Jews who were not persuaded, becoming envious, took some of the evil men from the marketplace, and gathering a mob, set all the city in an uproar and attacked the house of Jason, and sought to bring them out to the people. 6. But when they did not find them, they dragged Jason and some brethren to the rulers of the city, crying out, “These who have turned the world upside down have come here too. 7. Jason has harbored them, and these are all acting contrary to the decrees of Caesar, saying there is another king—Jesus.” 8. And they troubled the crowd and the rulers of the city when they heard these things. 9. So when they had taken security from Jason and the rest, they let them go. The Church in Berea 10. Then the brethren immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea. When they arrived, they went into the synagogue of the Jews. 11. These were more fair - minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so. 12. Therefore many of them believed, and also not a few of the Greeks, prominent women as well as men.

ወንጌል Gospel
Jn 10 : 34 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]34. Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your law, ‘ I said, “You are gods” ’? 35. If He called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken), 36. do you say of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming, ’ because I said, ‘ I am the Son of God’? 37. If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me; 38. but if I do, though you do not believe Me, believe the works, that you may know and believe that the Father is in Me, and I in Him.” 39. Therefore they sought again to seize Him, but He escaped out of their hand. 40. And He went away again beyond the Jordan to the place where John was baptizing at first, and there He stayed. 41. Then many came to Him and said, “John performed no sign, but all the things that John spoke about this Man were true.” 42. And many believed in Him there. 1Cor 12 : 12 - 21 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]12. For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. 13. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. 14. For in fact the body is not one member but many. 15. If the foot should say, “ Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body? 16. And if the ear should say, “ Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body? 17. If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would be the smelling? 18. But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased. 19. And if they were all one member, where would the body be? 20. But now indeed there are many members, yet one body. 21. And the eye cannot say to the hand, “ I have no need of you”; nor again the head to the feet, “ I have no need of you.”

As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 11. If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. For if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes. 14. But it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment than for you. 15. And you, Capernaum, who are exalted to heaven, will be brought down to Hades. 16. Lk 2 : 1 - 20 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. And it came to pass in those days that a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered. 2. This census first took place while Quirinius was governing Syria. 3. So all went to be registered, everyone to his own city. 4. Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David, 5. to be registered with Mary, his betrothed wife, who was with child. 6. So it was, that while they were there, the days were completed for her to be delivered. 7. And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. 8. Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. 10. Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. 11. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. 12. And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.” 13. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: 14. “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” 15. So it was, when the angels had gone away from them into heaven, that the shepherds said to one another, “Let us now go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has come to pass, which the Lord has made known to us.” 16. And they came with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the Babe lying in a manger. 17. Now when they had seen Him, they made widely known the saying which was told them concerning this Child. 18. And all those who heard it marveled at those things which were told them by the shepherds. 19. But Mary kept all these things and pondered them in her heart. 20. Then the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told them. ‘It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail,’ says the Lord to his desciples.

Gal 4 : 1 - 11 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. Now I say that the heir, as long as he is a child, does not differ at all from a slave, though he is master of all, 2. but is under guardians and stewards until the time appointed by the father. 3. Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world. 4. But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, 5. to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. 6. And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!” 7. Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. 8. But then, indeed, when you did not know God, you served those which by nature are not gods. 9. But now after you have known God, or rather are known by God, how is it that you turn again to the weak and beggarly elements, to which you desire again to be in bondage? 10. You observe days and months and seasons and years. 11. I am afraid for you, lest I have labored for you in vain.

2Jn 1 : 1 - 7 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. The Elder, To the elect lady and her children, whom I love in truth, and not only I, but also all those who have known the truth, 2. because of the truth which abides in us and will be with us forever: 3. Grace, mercy, and peace will be with you from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love. 4. I rejoiced greatly that I have found some of your children walking in truth, as we received commandment from the Father. 5. And now I plead with you, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment to you, but that which we have had from the beginning: that we love one another. 6. This is love, that we walk according to His commandments. This is the commandment, that as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it. 7. For many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

When Moses saw it, he marveled at the sight; and as he drew near to observe, the voice of the Lord came to him, 32. saying, ‘ I am the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. ’ And Moses trembled and dared not look. 33. ‘Then the Lord said to him, “Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground. 34. I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt; I have heard their groaning and have come down to deliver them. And now come, I will send you to Egypt.” ’

Lk 1 : 46 - 56 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]46. And Mary said: “My soul magnifies the Lord, 47. And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior. 48. For He has regarded the lowly state of His maidservant; For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed. 49. For He who is mighty has done great things for me, And holy is His name. 50. And His mercy is on those who fear Him From generation to generation. 51. He has shown strength with His arm; He has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. 52. He has put down the mighty from their thrones, And exalted the lowly. 53. He has filled the hungry with good things, And the rich He has sent away empty. 54. He has helped His servant Israel, In remembrance of His mercy, 55. As He spoke to our fathers, To Abraham and to his seed forever.” 56. And Mary remained with her about three months, and returned to her house. At that time Jesus answered and said, “ I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes. 26. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight. 27. All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Eph 6 : 10 - 18 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]10. Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15. and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16. above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18. praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—

1Jn 4 : 4 - 11 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]4. You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 5. They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them. 6. We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error. 7. Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 8. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. 9. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. 10. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

Acts 15 : 1 - 6 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. And certain men came down from Judea and taught the brethren, “Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved.” 2. Therefore, when Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and dispute with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas and certain others of them should go up to Jerusalem, to the apostles and elders, about this question. 3. So, being sent on their way by the church, they passed through Phoenicia and Samaria, describing the conversion of the Gentiles; and they caused great joy to all the brethren. 4. And when they had come to Jerusalem, they were received by the church and the apostles and the elders; and they reported all things that God had done with them. 5. But some of the sect of the Pharisees who believed rose up, saying, “It is necessary to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.” 6. Now the apostles and elders came together to consider this matter.

I thank God, whom I serve with a pure conscience, as my forefathers did, as without ceasing I remember you in my prayers night and day, 4. greatly desiring to see you, being mindful of your tears, that I may be filled with joy, 5. when I call to remembrance the genuine faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded is in you also. 6. Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. 7. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 8. Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God, 9. who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began, 10. but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel,

Acts 16 : 1 - 12 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. Then he came to Derbe and Lystra. And behold, a certain disciple was there, named Timothy, the son of a certain Jewish woman who believed, but his father was Greek. 2. He was well spoken of by the brethren who were at Lystra and Iconium. 3. Paul wanted to have him go on with him. And he took him and circumcised him because of the Jews who were in that region, for they all knew that his father was Greek. 4. And as they went through the cities, they delivered to them the decrees to keep, which were determined by the apostles and elders at Jerusalem. 5. So the churches were strengthened in the faith, and increased in number daily. 6. Now when they had gone through Phrygia and the region of Galatia, they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach the word in Asia. 7. After they had come to Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit did not permit them. 8. So passing by Mysia, they came down to Troas. 9. And a vision appeared to Paul in the night. A man of Macedonia stood and pleaded with him, saying, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” 10. Now after he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go to Macedonia, concluding that the Lord had called us to preach the gospel to them. 11. Therefore, sailing from Troas, we ran a straight course to Samothrace, and the next day came to Neapolis, 12. and from there to Philippi, which is the foremost city of that part of Macedonia, a colony. And we were staying in that city for some days.

2Cor 1 : 13 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]13. For we are not writing any other things to you than what you read or understand. Now I trust you will understand, even to the end 14. (as also you have understood us in part), that we are your boast as you also are ours, in the day of the Lord Jesus. 15. And in this confidence I intended to come to you before, that you might have a second benefit— 16. to pass by way of you to Macedonia, to come again from Macedonia to you, and be helped by you on my way to Judea. 17. Therefore, when I was planning this, did I do it lightly? Or the things I plan, do I plan according to the flesh, that with me there should be Yes, Yes, and No, No? 18. But as God is faithful, our word to you was not Yes and No. 19. For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us—by me, Silvanus, and Timothy—was not Yes and No, but in Him was Yes. 20. For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. 21. Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, 22. who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee. 23. More over I call God as witness against my soul, that to spare you I came no more to Corinth. 24. Not that we have dominion over your faith, but are fellow workers for your joy; for by faith you stand.

1Jn 2 : 22 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]22. Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son. 23. Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also. 24. Therefore let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father. 25. And this is the promise that He has promised us—eternal life. 26. These things I have written to you concerning those who try to deceive you. 27. But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him. 28. And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming. 29. If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness is born of Him.

Acts 13 : 20 - 27 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]20. “After that He gave them judges for about four hundred and fifty years, until Samuel the prophet. 21. And afterward they asked for a king; so God gave them Saul the son of Kish, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, for forty years. 22. And when He had removed him, He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, ‘ I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will. ’ 23. From this man's seed, according to the promise, God raised up for Israel a Savior—Jesus 24. after John had first preached, before His coming, the baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel. 25. And as John was finishing his course, he said, ‘Who do you think I am? I am not He. But behold, there comes One after me, the sandals of whose feet I am not worthy to loose. ’ 26. “Men and brethren, sons of the family of Abraham, and those among you who fear God, to you the word of this salvation has been sent. 27. For those who dwell in Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they did not know Him, nor even the voices of the Prophets which are read every Sabbath, have fulfilled them in condemning Him.

ወንጌል Gospel
Lk 2 : 41 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]41. His parents went to Jerusalem every year at the Feast of the Passover. 42. And when He was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem according to the custom of the feast. 43. When they had finished the days, as they returned, the Boy Jesus lingered behind in Jerusalem. And Joseph and His mother did not know it; 44. but supposing Him to have been in the company, they went a day's journey, and sought Him among their relatives and acquaintances. 45. So when they did not find Him, they returned to Jerusalem, seeking Him. 46. Now so it was that after three days they found Him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both listening to them and asking them questions. 47. And all who heard Him were astonished at His understanding and answers. 48. So when they saw Him, they were amazed; and His mother said to Him, “Son, why have You done this to us? Look, Your father and I have sought You anxiously.” 49. And He said to them, “Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father's business?” 50. But they did not understand the statement which He spoke to them. 51. Then He went down with them and came to Nazareth, and was subject to them, but His mother kept all these things in her heart. 52. And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men. ‘It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail,’ says the Lord to his desciples.
