Ps 56 : 5 - 6 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]All their thoughts are against me for evil. They will dwell near and hide; They will watch my heel As they wait for my soul.
ወንጌል Gospel
Lk 22 : 1 - 6 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. Now the Feast of Unleavened Bread drew near, which is called Passover. 2. And the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might kill Him, for they feared the people. 3. Then Satan entered Judas, surnamed Iscariot, who was numbered among the twelve. 4. So he went his way and conferred with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray Him to them. 5. And they were glad, and agreed to give him money. 6. So he promised and sought opportunity to betray Him to them in the absence of the multitude. ‘It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail,’ says the Lord to his desciples.

መልእክተ ጳውሎስ Pauline Epistle
1Cor 5 : 1 - 8 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and such sexual immorality as is not even named among the Gentiles—that a man has his father's wife! 2. And you are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he who has done this deed might be taken away from among you. 3. For I indeed, as absent in body but present in spirit, have already judged (as though I were present) him who has so done this deed. 4. In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when you are gathered together, along with my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, 5. deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. 6. Your glorying is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? 7. Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us. 8. Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

1Jn 3 : 7 - 12 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]7. Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. 8. He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. 9. Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. 10. In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother. 11. For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another, 12. not as Cain who was of the wicked one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his works were evil and his brother's righteous.

Acts 17 : 16 - 23 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]16. Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was provoked within him when he saw that the city was given over to idols. 17. Therefore he reasoned in the synagogue with the Jews and with the Gentile worshipers, and in the marketplace daily with those who happened to be there. 18. Thena certain Epicurean and Stoic philosophers encountered him. And some said, “What does this babbler want to say?” Others said, “He seems to be a proclaimer of foreign gods,” because he preached to them Jesus and the resurrection. 19. And they took him and brought him to the Areopagus, saying, “May we know what this new doctrine is of which you speak? 20. For you are bringing some strange things to our ears. Therefore we want to know what these things mean.” 21. For all the Athenians and the foreigners who were there spent their time in nothing else but either to tell or to hear some new thing. 22. Then Paul stood in the midst of the Areopagus and said, “Men of Athens, I perceive that in all things you are very religious; 23. for as I was passing through and considering the objects of your worship, I even found an altar with this inscription: Therefore, the One whom you worship without knowing, Him I proclaim to you:

Mk 13 : 5 - 13 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]5. And Jesus, answering them, began to say: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 6. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘ I am He, ’ and will deceive many. 7. But when you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be troubled; for such things must happen, but the end is not yet. 8. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines and troubles. These are the beginnings of sorrows. 9. “But watch out for yourselves, for they will deliver you up to councils, and you will be beaten in the synagogues. You will be brought before rulers and kings for My sake, for a testimony to them. 10. And the gospel must first be preached to all the nations. 11. But when they arrest you and deliver you up, do not worry beforehand, or premeditate what you will speak. But whatever is given you in that hour, speak that; for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit. 12. Now brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death. 13. And you will be hated by all for My name's sake. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!

Mt 26 : 26 - 30 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]26. And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.” 27. Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. 28. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. 29. But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father's kingdom.” 30. And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives. The Lord told his desciples, ‘Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.’

Lk 24 : 33 - 40 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]33. So they rose up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven and those who were with them gathered together, 34. saying, “The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!” 35. And they told about the things that had happened on the road, and how He was known to them in the breaking of bread. 36. Now as they said these things, Jesus Himself stood in the midst of them, and said to them, “Peace to you.” 37. But they were terrified and frightened, and supposed they had seen a spirit. 38. And He said to them, “Why are you troubled? And why do doubts arise in your hearts? 39. Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have.” 40. When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His feet. ‘It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail,’ says the Lord to his desciples.

መልእክተ ጳውሎስ Pauline Epistle
Col 1 : 12 - 23 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]12. giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. 13. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14. in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. 15. He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. 18. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. 19. For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, 20. and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross. 21. And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled 22. in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight— 23. if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.
ዘካልእ መልእክት Universal Epistle
1Pet 3 : 15 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]15. But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear; 16. having a good conscience, that when they defame you as evildoers, those who revile your good conduct in Christ may be ashamed. 17. For it is better, if it is the will of God, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil. 18. For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit, 19. by whom also He went and preached to the spirits in prison, 20. who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water. 21. There is also an antitype which now saves us—baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, 22. who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, angels and authorities and powers having been made subject to Him.

Acts 5 : 26 - 32 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]26. Then the captain went with the officers and brought them without violence, for they feared the people, lest they should be stoned. 27. And when they had brought them, they set them before the council. And the high priest asked them, 28. saying, “Did we not strictly command you not to teach in this name? And look, you have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this Man's blood on us!” 29. But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: “We ought to obey God rather than men. 30. The God of our fathers raised up Jesus whom you murdered by hanging on a tree. 31. Him God has exalted to His right hand to be Prince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. 32. And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him.”

Jn 21 : 1 - 14 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. After these things Jesus showed Himself again to the disciples at the Sea of Tiberias, and in this way He showed Himself: 2. Simon Peter, Thomas called the Twin, Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two others of His disciples were together. 3. Simon Peter said to them, “ I am going fishing.” They said to him, “We are going with you also.” They went out and immediately got into the boat, and that night they caught nothing. 4. But when the morning had now come, Jesus stood on the shore; yet the disciples did not know that it was Jesus. 5. Then Jesus said to them, “Children, have you any food?” They answered Him, “No.” 6. And He said to them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.” So they cast, and now they were not able to draw it in because of the multitude of fish. 7. Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, “It is the Lord!” Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment (for he had removed it), and plunged into the sea. 8. But the other disciples came in the little boat (for they were not far from land, but about two hundred cubits), dragging the net with fish. 9. Then, as soon as they had come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid on it, and bread. 10. Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the fish which you have just caught.” 11. Simon Peter went up and dragged the net to land, full of large fish, one hundred and fifty - three; and although there were so many, the net was not broken. 12. Jesus said to them, “Come and eat breakfast.” Yet none of the disciples dared ask Him, “Who are You?” —knowing that it was the Lord. 13. Jesus then came and took the bread and gave it to them, and likewise the fish. 14. This is now the third time Jesus showed Himself to His disciples after He was raised from the dead. መልእክተ ጳውሎስ Pauline Epistle
Rom 4 : 13 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]13. For the promise that he would be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. 14. For if those who are of the law are heirs, faith is made void and the promise made of no effect, 15. because the law brings about wrath; for where there is no law there is no transgression. 16. Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all 17. (as it is written, “ I have made you a father of many nations” ) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did; 18. who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be.” 19. And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah's womb. 20. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, 21. and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. 22. And therefore “it was accounted to him for righteousness.” 23. Now it was not written for his sake alone that it was imputed to him, 24. but also for us. It shall be imputed to us who believe in Him who raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead, 25. who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification.
ዘካልእ መልእክት Universal Epistle
Js 2 : 19 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]19. You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! 20. But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? 21. Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? 22. Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? 23. And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God. 24. You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only. 25. Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way? 26. For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Acts 3 : 12 - 18 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]12. So when Peter saw it, he responded to the people: “Men of Israel, why do you marvel at this? Or why look so intently at us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk? 13. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, glorified His Servant Jesus, whom you delivered up and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let Him go. 14. But you denied the Holy One and the Just, and asked for a murderer to be granted to you, 15. and killed the Prince of life, whom God raised from the dead, of which we are witnesses. 16. And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all. 17. “Yet now, brethren, I know that you did it in ignorance, as did also your rulers. 18. But those things which God foretold by the mouth of all His prophets, that the Christ would suffer, He has thus fulfilled.

He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.” 40. Then He came to the disciples and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “What! Could you not watch with Me one hour? 41. Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” 42. Again, a second time, He went away and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if this cup cannot pass away from Me unless I drink it, Your will be done.” 43. And He came and found them asleep again, for their eyes were heavy. 44. So He left them, went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words. 45. Then He came to His disciples and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and resting? Behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of sinners. 46. Heb 5 : 7 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]7. who, in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications, with vehement cries and tears to Him who was able to save Him from death, and was heard because of His godly fear, 8. though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered. 9. And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him, 10. called by God as High Priest “according to the order of Melchizedek,” 11. of whom we have much to say, and hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing. 12. For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food. 13. For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. 14. But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
ዘካልእ መልእክት Universal Epistle
1Jn 4 : 8 - 17 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]8. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. 9. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. 10. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12. No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us. 13. By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. 14. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world. 15. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. 16. And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. 17. Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.

Acts 13 : 32 - 39 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]32. And we declare to you glad tidings—that promise which was made to the fathers. 33. God has fulfilled this for us their children, in that He has raised up Jesus. As it is also written in the second Psalm: ‘You are My Son, Today I have begotten You. ’ 34. And that He raised Him from the dead, no more to return to corruption, He has spoken thus: ‘ I will give you the sure mercies of David. ’ 35. Therefore He also says in another Psalm: ‘You will not allow Your Holy One to see corruption. ’ 36. “For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell asleep, was buried with his fathers, and saw corruption; 37. but He whom God raised up saw no corruption. 38. Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins; 39. and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.

But at last two false witnesses came forward 61. and said, “This fellow said, ‘ I am able to destroy the temple of God and to build it in three days.’” 62. And the high priest arose and said to Him, “Do You answer nothing? What is it these men testify against You?” 63. But Jesus kept silent. And the high priest answered and said to Him, “ I put You under oath by the living God: Tell us if You are the Christ, the Son of God!” 64. Jesus said to him, “It is as you said. Nevertheless, I say to you, hereafter you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven.” 65. Then the high priest tore his clothes, saying, “He has spoken blasphemy! What further need do we have of witnesses? Look, now you have heard His blasphemy! 66. What do you think?” They answered and said, “He is deserving of death.” 67. Then they spat in His face and beat Him; and others struck Him with the palms of their hands, 68. saying, “Prophesy to us, Christ! Who is the one who struck You?” The Lord told his desciples, ‘Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.’

Mt 27 : 36 - 44 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]36. Sitting down, they kept watch over Him there. 37. And they put up over His head the accusation written against Him: 38. Then two robbers were crucified with Him, one on the right and another on the left. 39. And those who passed by blasphemed Him, wagging their heads 40. and saying, “You who destroy the temple and build it in three days, save Yourself! If You are the Son of God, come down from the cross.” 41. Likewise the chief priests also, mocking with the scribes and elders, said, 42. “He saved others; Himself He cannot save. If He is the King of Israel, let Him now come down from the cross, and we will believe Him. 43. He trusted in God; let Him deliver Him now if He will have Him; for He said, ‘ I am the Son of God.’” 44. Even the robbers who were crucified with Him reviled Him with the same thing. The Lord told his desciples, ‘Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.’

ወንጌል Gospel
Jn 10 : 1 - 18 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. 2. But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. 3. To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4. And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. 5. Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.” 6. Jesus used this illustration, but they did not understand the things which He spoke to them. 7. Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. 8. All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. 9. I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. 10. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. 11. “ I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. 12. But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them. 13. The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care about the sheep. 14. I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. 15. As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. 16. And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd. 17. “Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. 18. No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father.” Whoever believes in the SON, have eternal life.

2Tim 4 : 5 - 18 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]5. But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry. 6. For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. 7. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing. 9. Be diligent to come to me quickly; 10. for Demas has forsaken me, having loved this present world, and has departed for Thessalonica—Crescens for Galatia, Titus for Dalmatia. 11. Only Luke is with me. Get Mark and bring him with you, for he is useful to me for ministry. 12. And Tychicus I have sent to Ephesus. 13. Bring the cloak that I left with Carpus at Troas when you come—and the books, especially the parchments. 14. Alexander the coppersmith did me much harm. May the Lord repay him according to his works. 15. You also must beware of him, for he has greatly resisted our words. 16. At my first defense no one stood with me, but all forsook me. May it not be charged against them. 17. But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that the message might be preached fully through me, and that all the Gentiles might hear. Also I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion. 18. And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His heavenly kingdom. To Him be glory forever and ever. Amen!

But may the God of all grace, who called usb to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. 11. To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. 12. By Silvanus, our faithful brother as I consider him, I have written to you briefly, exhorting and testifying that this is the true grace of God in which you stand. 13. But Paul insisted that they should not take with them the one who had departed from them in Pamphylia, and had not gone with them to the work. 39. Then the contention became so sharp that they parted from one another. And remain in the same house, eating and drinking such things as they give, for the laborer is worthy of his wages. Do not go from house to house. 8. Whatever city you enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you. 9. And heal the sick there, and say to them, ‘ The kingdom of God has come near to you. ’ 10. But whatever city you enter, and they do not receive you, go out into its streets and say, 11. ‘ The very dust of your city which clings to us we wipe off against you. Judah begot Perez and Zerah by Tamar, Perez begot Hezron, and Hezron begot Ram. 4. Ram begot Amminadab, Amminadab begot Nahshon, and Nahshon begot Salmon. 5. Salmon begot Boaz by Rahab, Boaz begot Obed by Ruth, Obed begot Jesse, 6. and Jesse begot David the king. David the king begot Solomon by her who had been the wife of Uriah. 7. Solomon begot Rehoboam, Rehoboam begot Abijah, and Abijah begot Asa. 8. Asa begot Jehoshaphat, Jehoshaphat begot Joram, and Joram begot Uzziah. 9. Uzziah begot Jotham, Jotham begot Ahaz, and Ahaz begot Hezekiah. 10. Hezekiah begot Manasseh, Manasseh begot Amon, and Amon begot Josiah. 11. Josiah begot Jeconiah and his brothers about the time they were carried away to Babylon. 12. And after they were brought to Babylon, Jeconiah begot Shealtiel, and Shealtiel begot Zerubbabel. 13. Zerubbabel begot Abiud, Abiud begot Eliakim, and Eliakim begot Azor. 14. Azor begot Zadok, Zadok begot Achim, and Achim begot Eliud. 15. Heb 9 : 1 - 10 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. Then indeed, even the first covenant had ordinances of divine service and the earthly sanctuary. 2. For a tabernacle was prepared: the first part, in which was the lampstand, the table, and the showbread, which is called the sanctuary; 3. and behind the second veil, the part of the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of All, 4. which had the golden censer and the ark of the covenant overlaid on all sides with gold, in which were the golden pot that had the manna, Aaron's rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant; 5. and above it were the cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat. Of these things we cannot now speak in detail. 6. Now when these things had been thus prepared, the priests always went into the first part of the tabernacle, performing the services. 7. But into the second part the high priest went alone once a year, not without blood, which he offered for himself and for the people's sins committed in ignorance; 8. the Holy Spirit indicating this, that the way into the Holiest of All was not yet made manifest while the first tabernacle was still standing. 9. It was symbolic for the present time in which both gifts and sacrifices are offered which cannot make him who performed the service perfect in regard to the conscience— 10. concerned only with foods and drinks, various washings, and fleshly ordinances imposed until the time of reformation.

Of this salvation the prophets have inquired and searched carefully, who prophesied of the grace that would come to you, 11. searching what, or what manner of time, the Spirit of Christ who was in them was indicating when He testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow. 12. To them it was revealed that, not to themselves, but to us they were ministering the things which now have been reported to you through those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven—things which angels desire to look into.

38. Jn 19 : 25 - 37 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]25. Now there stood by the cross of Jesus His mother, and His mother's sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. 26. When Jesus therefore saw His mother, and the disciple whom He loved standing by, He said to His mother, “Woman, behold your son!” 27. Then He said to the disciple, “Behold your mother!” And from that hour that disciple took her to his own home. 28. After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, “ I thirst!” 29. Now a vessel full of sour wine was sitting there; and they filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on hyssop, and put it to His mouth. 30. So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit. 31. Therefore, because it was the Preparation Day, that the bodies should not remain on the cross on the Sabbath (for that Sabbath was a high day), the Jews asked Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away. 32. Then the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first and of the other who was crucified with Him. 33. But when they came to Jesus and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs. 34. But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out. 35. And he who has seen has testified, and his testimony is true; and he knows that he is telling the truth, so that you may believe. 36. For these things were done that the Scripture should be fulfilled, “Not one of His bones shall be broken.” 37. And again another Scripture says, “They shall look on Him whom they pierced.” Whoever believes in the SON, have eternal life.

Jn 16 : 16 - 22 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]16. “A little while, and you will not see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me, because I go to the Father.” 17. Then some of His disciples said among themselves, “What is this that He says to us, ‘A little while, and you will not see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me’; and, ‘because I go to the Father’?” 18. They said therefore, “What is this that He says, ‘A little while’? We do not know what He is saying.” 19. Now Jesus knew that they desired to ask Him, and He said to them, “Are you inquiring among yourselves about what I said, ‘A little while, and you will not see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me’? 20. Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy. 21. A woman, when she is in labor, has sorrow because her hour has come; but as soon as she has given birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world. 22. 2Cor 12 : 5 - 12 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]5. Of such a one I will boast; yet of myself I will not boast, except in my infirmities. 6. For though I might desire to boast, I will not be a fool; for I will speak the truth. But I refrain, lest anyone should think of me above what he sees me to be or hears from me. 7. And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure. 8. Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. 9. And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 11. I have become a fool in boasting; you have compelled me. For I ought to have been commended by you; for in nothing was I behind the most eminent apostles, though I am nothing. 12. Truly the signs of an apostle were accomplished among you with all perseverance, in signs and wonders and mighty deeds.

For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” 55. “O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?” 56. The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. 57. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
ዘካልእ መልእክት Universal Epistle
1Jn 3 : 13 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]13. Do not marvel, my brethren, if the world hates you. 14. We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death. 15. Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. 16. By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. 17. But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? 18. My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. 19. And by this we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him. 20. For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things. 21. Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. 22. And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. 23. And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment. 24. Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.
ግብረ ሃዋርያት Acts
Acts 2 : 22 - 32 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]22. “Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know— 23. Him, being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by lawless hands, have crucified, and put to death; 24. whom God raised up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it. 25. For David says concerning Him: ‘ I foresaw the LORD always before my face, For He is at my right hand, that I may not be shaken. 26. Therefore my heart rejoiced, and my tongue was glad; More over my flesh also will rest in hope. 27. For You will not leave my soul in Hades, Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption. 28. You have made known to me the ways of life; You will make me full of joy in Your presence. ’ 29. “Men and brethren, let me speak freely to you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day. 30. Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body, according to the flesh, He would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne, 31. he, foreseeing this, spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that His soul was not left in Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption. 32. This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses.

Ps 106 : 14 - 16 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]Let them give thanks to the Lord for His mercies, His wonders to the sons of men; For He crushed the gates of bronze And shattered the bars of iron.
ወንጌል Gospel
Jn 21 : 15 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]15. So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Feed My lambs.” 16. He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Tend My sheep.” 17. He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.” Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep. 18. Most assuredly, I say to you, when you were younger, you girded yourself and walked where you wished; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will gird you and carry you where you do not wish.” 19. This He spoke, signifying by what death he would glorify God. And when He had spoken this, He said to him, “Follow Me.” 20. Then Peter, turning around, saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following, who also had leaned on His breast at the supper, and said, “Lord, who is the one who betrays You?” 21. Peter, seeing him, said to Jesus, “But Lord, what about this man?” 22. Jesus said to him, “If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you? You follow Me.” 23. Then this saying went out among the brethren that this disciple would not die. Yet Jesus did not say to him that he would not die, but, “If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you?” 24. This is the disciple who testifies of these things, and wrote these things; and we know that his testimony is true. 25. And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. Amen. Whoever believes in the SON, have eternal life.
